Fury is a legacy name used by several heroes inspired by the Amazons, and additional unrelated characters. The original was a heroine named Helena Kosmatos active during the Golden Age as a member of the Young All-Stars. She is the avatar of Tisiphone and her identity is inspired by Wonder Woman. Lyta Trevor is the biological daughter of Kosmatos, raised by Miss America and Derek Trevor. She is a founding member of Infinity, Inc., alongside her future husband Hector Hall. Erik Storn succeeds her as part of Lex Luthor's Everyman Project, a razor-clawed hero who later became Amazing Woman. Fury was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas and Jerry Ordway, first appearing in All-Star Squadron #25. (1983)
