Gaea is the primordial mother-goddess and progenitor of the Titans, Typhon and many other children, and she is considered the mother of all life on Earth. Gaea is also considered the actual Life Force of the Earth whose essence keeps it alive.

Amazons

Gaea is also the most worshiped deity of the Amazons and the figure through which they ask for strength and power in times of battle. Gaea also has a belt called "Belt of Gaea" which she bequeathed to the queens of the Amazons to aid in their leadership. There are records on Themyscira which detail how the times where humanity failed to embrace one another or respect the bounty Gaea provided causing her to smite those deemed unworthy using floods, plagues, and ages of darkness.[1]
