History

Ganthet appears in the Duck Dodgers episode "The Green Loontern" as a diminutive old man vaguely resembling a cartoon version of his mainstream DC Universe namesake. During a fight with Sinestro's robots, Ganthet appears out of a building when debris from the building falls on top of him. Duck Dodgers, who was operating as a Green Lantern due to a mix-up at the dry cleaners with his own costume, rescues Ganthet from being crushed by the debris, mistaking him for a kid. Later, after Sinestro's robots have departed, having captured enough Green Lanterns from the Corps for his evil purposes, surviving Corps members Kilowog, Katma Tui, and Ch'p accuse Duck Dodgers as being used by Sinestro as a distraction, with Duck getting pounded on by Kilowog. Ganthet comes to Duck's defense by saying that though that particular Green Lantern may be stupid, he certainly isn't working for Sinestro -- to which Duck Dodgers responds, "Gee, thanks, Papa Smurf!"
