Synopsis for "Pocatello Part Three: We’re the Good Guys"

The Gen 13 gang and Pathcutter’s caravan finally reach Pocatello only to be greeted by armed guards. No one in their party even knows how they finally got here. The kids notice that the town seems unaffected by Armageddon except for the fact that people are riding on horseback.

Pathcutter is being led away with them as prisoners when he suddenly tells Fairchild that he did his part and got them here now he has things to do on his own. With that, he runs off as the guards fire at him. The other kids subdue the guards but a stray rocket from one of their launchers hits scaffolding where people are repairing a building. Runt helps them out.

The guards try to rally to attack the kids but the Mayor of the town shows up and calls them off. The Mayor explains that the only reason Pocatello survived is because its citizens pulled together. He then offers for them to use their powers to help the town as well.

Meanwhile, Pathcutter breaks into a medical center in the town and finds a girl in a hospital bed he identifies as Emily.

The Mayor explains to the kids that Pocatello has a cloaking device around. This is how they’ve kept away any unwanted visitors. Then they are introduced to Dr. Gimlin who was a researcher at Idaho Falls which is not too far from Pocatello. He tells them there is a nuclear reactor at Idaho Falls, the Idaho National Laboratory (known as "The Site"). He was there when The High's Reapers attacked and it damaged the reactor. He stayed behind to try and fix it but became deformed by all the exposure. Now if they don’t execute the fail safe machinery, a meltdown will occur. The Mayor asks if any of the kids could handle the radiation long enough to activate the fail safe. Burnout says he can. But Dr. Gimlin warns that there were experiments done there on humans to see if they could survive radiation so they may run into some of these creatures.

Pathcutter is still at the hospital with the girl Emily who he reveals is his sister. He reminds her that they used to be a superhero duo called Hide and Seek. He keeps trying his best to wake her up, even by putting on his old costume.

The kids arrive at the nuclear reactor facility. Burnout flies on ahead to starts his mission while the kids hang back. They are suddenly attacked by the creatures Dr. Gimlin had warned. Burnout finds his way into the lab and initiates the fail safe. But it fails and the place explodes with him in it. The creatures fighting the others run away at the site of the explosion. Fairchild runs towards the explosion after Burnout. Windsprint stops her telling her there’s too much radiation. But suddenly, Burnout emerges from the wreckage changed into some sort of radioactive creature.
