DCAU

DCAU is an acronym which stands for DC Animated Universe and is used in reference to characters and storylines from DC's animated movies and television projects. Although primarily used to describe programs that went into production following the 1992 Batman: The Animated Series, it can also be used to describe older shows such as The New Adventures of Batman and the Super Friends. Traditionally, DCAU is used to describe seven specific programs, all of which take place within a shared continuity. Programs that are considered to be part of the "canonical" DC Animated Universe include:

• Batman (1992 TV Series)
• Batman Beyond (TV Series)
• Superman (1996 TV Series)
• Justice League (TV Series)
• Justice League Unlimited (TV Series)
• Static Shock (TV Series)
• The Zeta Project (TV Series)
