Synopsis for "Dead Robin, Part 2"

When Takahata and Romy Chandler move in closer to see if they shot Batman, he springs to his feet and knocks Romy back with a punch and steals her gun in one swoop. Takahata looks at Batman but doesn't take the shot.

At the station, Thomas Burke, Takahata, Josie MacDonald, and Marcus Driver discuss the case. They broke the news of the death of their son to the Baumbachs and they were rattled. Driver warns Takahata he needs to do a better job of protecting his partner. Captain Maggie Sawyer busts into the room furious at Simon for printing a crime scene photo of the death of Robin. She assumes there's a leak, and most likely Jim Corrigan. Suddenly, the Teen Titans show up per the Captain's request to interview them on the murder.

Driver and Josie Mac arrive at the Baumbach's house and find it is swarmed with news reporters. They state they know their son had gotten into gymnastics and theater, and think he could possibly have been Robin. Driver and Josie Mac usher the parents inside and warn them it's not a good idea to state this publicly as it might put them in danger from Robin's enemies.

Driver and Josie Mac confirm the kid was actually at gymnastics class and not out running around being Robin. Romy is pissed she lost her piece and knows Captain Sawyer will come down on her when she admits it. She also knows with Nate Patton's death,[1] that it will look like she shot at Batman for revenge.

Robin stops in while Stacy is on the roof. He tells her to please tell the officers that he's OK and he can't come in to tell them due to 'the rules'. Stacy asks Robin for the favor of returning Romy's gun as she knows she feels bad about it and will get into big trouble. When Stacy walks back inside, she gets a call that another dead body has been found dressed as Robin.
