Synopsis for "The Champions"
On a bus in Seattle, two men try and rob all the passengers, but Dinah Lance stops them. In space, two astronauts are effecting repairs to a satellite, when it explodes.
At castle Queen, Oliver Queen is practicing with his bow and arrows when Dinah comes home bruised and bloody. She tells Oliver how she stopped the robbery of the bus and how it made her feel good. Oliver and Dinah make love.
Oliver goes on patrol as Green Arrow. He is stopping a mugging when the victim knocks him out. Ollie awakens to find himself in the office of a man named Mr. Joshua. Mr. Joshua tells Oliver how an orbiting space lab on which biochemical research was being conducted, has fallen from orbit and the pod containing the experiment has come down on San Juan Island, just off the coast of Washington. The Chinese are claiming ownership of the experiment and are moving a large recovery force into the area. Mr. Joshua wants Oliver to go to San Juan Island and reclaim the experiment. Mr. Joshua tells Oliver that he is the second choice for this assignment. Their first choice, Eddie Fyers, is working for the Chinese. Reluctantly, Oliver agrees. Oliver gets on a ferry for San Juan Island. As the ferry approaches the Island, Eddie Fyers targets Oliver with a sniper rifle.
