G'nort ends up in Littleville, where he apprehends a couple of supervillains robbing a bank. They take a hostage, and G'nort follows them and finds an organized group of low-rate super-criminals. When they learn that a Green Lantern is coming, the villains try to escape, but G'nort apprehends them. When the hostage sees G'nort, she blames the Green Lantern for ruining her vacation. He then learns that the villains weren't robbing a real bank: it's all part of a mounted show, and tourists pay to watch and be part of the action. The "villains" also get a cut for the show. G'nort is not convinced by the explanation and promises the cops to get back after checking in with the Justice League. In the middle of a show interpreted by Charlie Vicker, the Hwagaagaa recall how their Green Lantern came to their planet. After being taken from Earth and assigned to a sector far away from his home, Vicker protected the Hwagaagaa from Teban raiders. During one of his fights, he received a call to attend the trial of Sinestro on Oa, but he ignored the meeting. Unbeknownst to him, the outcome of that meeting left his ring powerless, and Vicker ended up stranded on Hwagaagaa. Through his acting skills and knowledge of epic theatrical plays, he taught the Hwagaagaa to become warriors and fight against the Tebans.
