Synopsis for "Assault on Replikon"
Replikon (as Andre) has spent more than a week in the Star City Library learning about Earth and its inhabitants. He meets with an obviously stricken Carol Ferris who has promised to show him the town. Afterward he returns to earlier sites and decides to alter the Earth's physical conditions to that of his home world. He causes a chemical release of fluorocarbon gas but Green Lantern arrives and contains/collects the gas sending into space. Replikon attacks and Green Lantern fakes unconsciousness. Replikon leaves, Lantern secretly following. Lantern sees him change back to Andre's form. Lantern seeks out Dinah and Ollie and they decide to set a trap but they need Carol to lure him into it. Although she has developed feelings for Andre, she agrees and escorts him to an abandoned area. Black Canary and Green Arrow attack keeping Replikon on the defensive. Green Lantern attacks and drives him into a lead cylinder which Replikon cannot phase through. Lantern seals the cylinder and transports him back to his home world.

Synopsis for "The Green Dragon of Death"
Part 2 of 3. Green Lantern is groggy after a fight. Chin Loo takes his ring and puts it on only to be killed. The ring cannot be worn by those who are copnciously evil. Green Lantern reclaims the ring and escapes. The next day he snoops around Chinatown as Alan and meets Lo-Lanke, a woman who witnessed his transformation last issue, tells him of Lord Chang - the man who initially fashioned the Green Flame into a lantern and was killed fulfilling the first part of its prophecy. Lo-Lanke states that it was Chang's servant who died. Chang has continued to hold a piece of the original Green Flame rock, which has extended his life for centuries, but was unable to use its power until recently. Knowing Green Lantern was a threat to him, he sought him out and attacked. Chang appears and attacks Alan defeating him. Lo-Lanke takes the ring while Chang creates a pit full of magic flames. Lo-Lanke pushes a now chained Green Lantern into the pit. To be continued.
