Synopsis for "The Secret of Sinestro!"

Green Arrow is invited as a guest of honor to the New Age Museum. Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris and Tom Kalmaku are also present as part of Ferris Aircraft. Sinestro attacks the museum but Hal switches to Green Lantern and rescues the people.

Sinestro escapes and Green Lantern travels to his home world of Korugar where he meets with Katma Tui, Green Lantern for that sector. Katma tells Green Lantern where to find Sinestro's father, then she leaves to deal with a volcano on one of Korugar's moons. Green Lantern meets with Sinestro's father in his place of business where Korugarians can bathe in addictive, but partially lethal, yellow null rays. The rays encompass Green Lantern and Sinestro reveals himself (he was disguised as his father). Green Lantern sends a power ring SOS which Katma sees. Although Korugar's laws prevent her from attacking Sinestro, she is obligated to protect visitors and she destroys the null ray generator. Sinestro attacks her but Green Lantern, now free, attacks Sinestro. Sinestro grabs one of the other Korugarians and pushes her towards Green Lantern buying him a moment to somehow escape to Qward. Green Lantern decides he must go to Qward and fight Sinestro there.
