Synopsis for "The Man Who Conquered Sound!"
While returning to Earth from another mission in space, Hal flies over Europe and recalls that Pieface is missing a stamp from the kingdom of Modora, a small country in the Balkans. Going there to collect that stamp as a surprise for Pieface, Green Lantern learns that since people don't send mail out of the country stamps are very rare. Probing the mind of a clock maker, he learns of a Modorian named Bito Wladon, an inventor who has traveled to America, whom the clockmaker worries is up to no good.
Returning home, Green Lantern consults his ring to tell him about Wladon: Bito Wladon is a brilliant inventor who specializes in sound and has a hatred for larger countries, the United States in particular and had decided to become a criminal to boost awareness of his home land of Modora by committing fantastic crimes in America.
Arriving in the states, Green Lantern learns that Wladon has already begun his career in crime as the costumed criminal known as Sonar. Defeated in their initial encounter, Green Lantern battles Sonar again as he tries to rob the Star Laboratory. When Sonar uses his sonic weapon to make Green Lantern believe everything is yellow, the criminal escapes again. Restoring his mind with his power ring, Green Lantern makes one more attack on Sonar, capturing him with ease when he uses his power ring to create a waterspout that washes up the criminal. With Sonar turned over to the police, his story makes international headlines, getting Modora the world images Sonar believed it deserved. For defeating Sonar, the people of Modora give Green Lantern a Modorian stamp which he gives to Pieface for his collection.

Synopsis for "My Brother, Green Lantern!"
While preparing for the annual Jordan hunting trip, Hal can't find his fraternity ring which all the Jordan brothers wear as tradition. Pieface suggests that he change the appearance of his power ring to resemble his fraternity ring. While the Jordans go out hunting, Jim's girlfriend Sue Williams arrives to snoop around their house for clues that will prove her suspicion that Jim is really the Green Lantern.
The Jordan's hunting trip ends when Hal catches poison ivy and they take him to a doctor. Having to take off his ring to have his hand swabbed, young Jim also takes off his ring when he believes that he has caught some as well. The result of the visit to the doctors leaves Jim leaving with Hal's power ring still disguised as a fraternity ring. When Jim is confronted by Sue, he tries to convince her that he is not Green Lantern, however the power ring complies with his wish to fly causing him to fly up and hit his head on the roof knocking himself out.
When Sue goes to get a doctor for help, crooks break into the Jordan home seeking to steal the lamp of a 30's model car that supposedly has a smuggled diamond in it. However when it turns up empty, they capture Jim and take him to their boss to find out what happened to the diamond. Hal, realizing the mix up, stumbles upon the crooks taking Jim away and follows them in a car as Green Lantern. When the boss of the crooks explains they smuggled a diamond in the missing lamp of the car, Green Lantern arrives and wills his power ring (on Jim's finger) to make it look like both have Green Lantern power rings and they manage to capture the crooks.
Doing a switch of rings, Hal gets his power ring back and Jim tries to repeat the same stunt to Sue later, but it doesn't work. Meanwhile, Green Lantern turns over the crooks to the police and turns over the diamond which he reveals is in a hidden compartment. After, Hal joins his brothers at their fraternity reunion.
