Synopsis for "Burning in Effigy, Part Two"

Green Lantern continues to battle Effigy who possesses immense fire powers. Kyle thought he could convince Effigy to become a hero, but the young man is not about that. He just cannot stand people like Green Lantern. For Kyle, Effigy is like a mirror picture of himself because once Kyle got his powers, he could have chosen to become a villain rather than a hero as well.

Once Kyle stops to hold back he is able to defeat Effigy, but suddenly a huge spaceship appears and aliens calling themselves the Controllers step out of it. They created Effigy and intend to take him with them now. Kyle is not able to stop them.

Later, Kyle visits Warriors to talk about the incident with Alan Scott, John Stewart, Guy Gardner and his girlfriend Jennifer-Lynn Hayden. John tells Kyle that the Controllers descend from the same race the Guardians of the Universe do. The Controllers look for a strict order in the universe and Kyle asks himself what they are up to with Effigy ...
