Synopsis for "Control Freak"
Green Lantern confronts the Controllers and wants to know what they did to him regarding his hallucinations. The Controllers take Kyle down easily and explain that they wanted him imprisoned in his own false reality. They are surprised he escaped that reality, but they still are sure that Green Lantern will be no threat to their further plans.
When Kyle awakes he finds himself in shackles and there are some tubes attached to his naked body. And members of other alien species are sharing his fate. Kyle does not want to be part of a mindless army for the Controllers. He is able to free himself and to the astonishment of a Controller, Kyle's mind is strong enough to resist him. So the Controller orders other members of the Effigy Corps to take care of the human. But Kyle is mentally able to make his power ring come to him. He creates energy forms of other Green Lantern Corps members and is able to defeat the Effigy Corps. The Controllers retreat with the warning that they will not underestimate Green Lantern again. Kyle answers that they might face a whole Green Lantern Corps next time ...
