Synopsis for "Outswimming the Undertow"

In the Antimatter Universe, the Qwardians have created a new yellow power ring and intend to put it into the hands of a chaos-bringer.

At the same time, the leader of the now self-aware Manhunters tries to use Green Lantern's power ring. Kyle is sure that it won't work because the Manhunters have no free will and no imagination. And he is right, the Manhunters fail and Kyle is able to free himself, get his ring back and destroy the space station including all Manhunters.

Back on Earth, S.T.A.R. Labs helps Kyle to get rid of all parts of the techno-organic virus. A few days pass, then Kyle meets with John Stewart and Guy Gardner to tell them what happened. John criticizes Kyle for giving his assistant a spare key to his appartment because this might compromise his secret identity.

Another few days later, Kyle and Terry Berg are re-watching an interview Kyle was giving on a TV show. Suddenly, Kyle gets a phone call from Jade. She warns him that Fatality has returned to Earth ...
