Synopsis for "War of the Green Lanterns: Part One"

The New Guardians manage to recover from the Book's chains and think about what the Book said. Saint Walker and Larfleeze realize that Krona was the one who made the Manhunters rebel against the Guardians, not a programming failure. Atrocitus also reveals that he always knew that Krona was the one responsible for the destruction of his sector and that is why he agreed to join the New Guardians. Carol asks why did Krona leave the Book on Ryut. Larfleeze recovers his Lantern but the Book's chains trap him, sealing him in its pages. Suddenly, Lyssa Drak appears and attacks the New Guardians with the Book's chains.

Meanwhile, Krona uses the entities to attack Oa. He forces the Guardians to become the new hosts for the Butcher, Ophidian, Ion, Adara, Proselyte and the Predator.

Hal and Sinestro join their rings and unleash a blast that frees Hal from the chains. However, the other New Guardians are trapped within the Book. Hal recovers their rings, but he is suddenly ambushed by Salaak and his strike team. Hal tries to reason with them and the strike team accept to hear his story.

Suddenly, Krona orders Parallax to enter the Central Battery on Oa, which restore the yellow impurity. Salaak and the strike team are suddenly corrupted by the impurity and attack Hal. However, Hal escapes and tries to communicate with other Lanterns who are not affected by the impurity.
