"Gunner" MacKay was a soldier during World War II and a member of the Losers.
History
He was known for using his tommy gun in combat. Gunner perished on a mission with most of the other Losers on Dinosaur Island sometime before the end of World War II.

- Gunner MacKay was created by Robert Kanigher and Jerry Grandenetti, first appearing in Our Fighting Forces #45. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Gunner MacKay first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Superman (Volume 4) #8 by Peter J. Tomasi, Patrick Gleason, and Doug Mahnke.
- MacKay's name was incorrectly put on his epitaph as "Gunner Wilson" in Superman (Volume 4) #8. This would be later be corrected when he appeared in person in Bug! The Adventures of Forager #2.
