Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern of space sector 2814 and teams up with the Batman and Robin against the threat of the united villains. Later, he is in the Watchtower with Martian Manhunter when he mysteriously disappeared. It is revealed that he and six other lanterns were captured by Brainiac. The Justice League rescued him and the other Lanterns. However, Brainiac shrunk the Earth and in order to return it to its normal size they would need a ring from every Lantern Corps. He, along with Batman, Robin, Solomon Grundy, Wonder Woman got the rings from the Red Lantern Corps, Orange Lantern Corps, Sinestro Corps. They brought the rings to the Fortress of Solitude where the Justice League beat Brainiac. Later, he was competing with Flash to be a better hero while he and the other members of the Justice League were forced to leave Earth after they apparently caused a power plant malfunction. It was discovered by Cyborg that it was an illusion and the Justice League returned to Earth. After they returned to Earth, the Justice League battled the Legion Of Doom. He continued competing with Flash until Wonder Woman explained to them that it is not what being a hero is about.
