Hawkworld was a three-issue limited series printed in DC's prestige format. The series re-imagined the origin of Hawkman for the Post-Crisis environment. Written by Tim Truman with artwork by Enrique Alcatena, Hawkworld spawned an ongoing title that expanded upon the culture of the planet Thanagar and brought the Hawks to the planet Earth.
