Synopsis for "The Cottage"

Chas drops off John Constantine at his wife's cottage, so Constantine has a place to lay low for a while as the police are looking for him. While there, John casts a spell in an attempt to communicate with Phoebe. In doing so, he triggers the memory of their first meeting. When Phoebe and John are kissing, Phoebe turns into a demon and attacks him. John runs for his life.

Meanwhile, Chas and his wife Renee are having breakfast and Renee is bad mouthing John, as usual. She chastises Chas for helping John, who is wanted by the police.

John manages to free himself from the grip of the spell, but not before Phoebe cries for help, asking John to help her get out Hell. John leaves the cottage, which is now burning to the ground.
