Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis, and great-great-grandson of Ra. While Horus is known for avenging his father's murder by Set, at some point in history, Set and Horus made a truce.

The truce depended on Set staying out of human affairs, which was broken when Set found the Helmet of Fate and was going to use it to put humanity to pain and misery for a thousand years. Thanks to Thoth and the new Ibis the Invincible, Horus could be summoned and battle Set until the Helmet was put elsewhere. Horus's sword is said to be the brightest ray of the sun.

Horus, as "Heru", provides Black Adam and Osiris their speed and flight.
