Synopsis for "I... Vampire!"
In the present day Andrew Bennett hunts down vampires in the Cult of the Blood Red Moon with his allies Deborah Dancer and Dmitri Mishkin. They have finally found their leader Mary, Queen of Blood. He thinks back and remembers his origins.
In the year 1591 he had been a celebrated member of Queen Elizabeth's court. His true love was a beautiful handmaiden named Mary Seward. On one of his late-night rides he was attacked and bitten by a vampire. Bennett slew the vampire, but spent several days locked in his room drinking deer blood. When Mary discovers this, she begs to be turned into a vampire so they can remain together for all of eternity. In a moment of weakness and hunger, Bennett agrees and bites her. To his horror she loses her humanity and becomes a ruthless killer, driving them apart. He spends the next several centuries hunting Mary down to stop her rampage. During this time she begins calling herself Queen of Blood as leader to the Blood Red Moon.
They are attacked on a rooftop by vampires, and they drive them away while Mary escapes through the diversion. Bennett rushes to track her down, but finds this woman was an impostor sent to embarrass him. He lets her escape and swears that he will destroy his former love.
