House of Mystery #304 is an issue of the series House of Mystery (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 1982.
Synopsis for "The Night Has Eyes"
Mary, Queen of Blood puts a stake into Andrew Bennett's heart and immobilizes him. She decides to give him an ironic burial and has her goons put him inside a coffin in the carnival's funhouse. Bennett is still barely alive, and he uses telepathy to control a teenage girl into releasing him. To regain strength he transforms into a bat and drinks blood from a nearby ambulance. Rushing to the planned Blood Red Moon kidnapping of a millionaire's child, Bennett confronts their operative atop a ferris wheel. They struggle and he saves the child, but a stray bullet ignites several gas tanks. The carnival is set on fire, and the ferris wheel breaks into a giant cross. The remaining vampires are pinned down by the cross and trapped to their fiery deaths. Standing over the burning wreckage, Bennett sees a single bat escape and realizes that it must be Mary.
