House of Mystery #310 is an issue of the series House of Mystery (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 1982.
Synopsis for I Vampire: "Manhattan Interlude"
Following their time-traveling adventure, Andrew Bennett and Mary, Queen of Blood are transported back to present-day Manhattan. He throws his Ring of Kur-Alet into the ocean so they cannot be used together again.
Bennett wanders the streets feeling lonely, and decides to look up his old friends Deborah Dancer and Dmitri Mishkin. Taking a taxi, he meets and connects with a lonely heart named Susan. She invites him out for drinks, where they connect over having been hurt in their last relationships. In the alleyway it is revealed that Susan's ex-boyfriend was a vampire, and she has begun reluctantly preying on men's blood to survive. Despite never having killed someone, she knows eventually she will give in to her bloodlust. Bennett tries to convince her to take his path, but she insists she isn't strong enough. Susan decides to kill herself by appreciating one last sunrise, and Bennett flies off to hide from the dawn.
