Synopsis for "The Thing in the Tunnels"

Andrew Bennett is finally back home in New York City with Deborah Dancer and Dmitri Mishkin. In the newspapers they read about a series of missing persons in the subway, which seem to be the work of more vampires. Bennett goes down to investigate on his own, and meets a reporter named Maggie Carle. They're attacked by a giant insectoid beast who belongs to Barr Laboratories, the company responsible for creating a cancer cure that made humans poisonous to vampires. A team of men working for Barr Laboratories descend on Bennett and Carle with guns, insisting that they come with them.
