Synopsis for "I, the Pursuer of Demons"

Andrew Bennett and Deborah Dancer follow Mary, Queen of Blood to Paris following the death of their friend Dmitri Mishkin. Bennett decides to take the untested Rashnikov Formula, said to remove vampire weaknesses. This allows him to finally become a man again, retaining his vampiric strength but losing the bloodlust and weakness to sunlight. He begins to eat food again, and is able to finally embrace Deborah as a lover. They continue hunting down the Blood Red Moon, and Bennett follows several vampires back to their hideout where he hides in a coffin. Suddenly he finds himself unable to move, and Mary wakes him from the coffin. She explains that the experimental formula was not meant to be taken by existing vampires, but those who would be turned into vampires. In turning his body human again he's also been subjected to 400 years of rigor mortis.
