Quote1 Hmm! According to this, Guido Bertinelli was survived by a daughter... who resurfaced recently. It might be necessary to remove her and those close to her... to maintain my control! Quote2

Synopsis for "A Bad Seed"

Detectives Fiorello and O'Shea discover that Jessica Sharp, the reporter they were guarding, has been murdered despite the fact that they were just in the other room. Fiorello, ever suspicious of the Huntress demands answers of her, but O'Shea admits his complicity.
O'Shea had given half of Guido Bertinelli's coded ledger to Alexander Wyvern, a serial killer with a talent for decoding cryptography. Unfortunately, Wyvern has obviously decoded his half of the ledger, and used the information inside to aid in his escape from prison. He then killed the person to whom Huntress gave the other half - Jessica Sharp. Wyvern left a symbol at the scene which came from the ledger.
Wyvern, a free man now, looks up his friend 'Picture Man,' the proprietor of an adult book store, and uses his internet modem to see who might have access to a copy of the ledger that he's stolen. He discovers that Guido's daughter is still alive, and sets about seeking her out with plans to murder her. The next day, he tracks down an H. Bertinelli and after talking his way into her apartment, he drugs her and then murders her. Fortunately, the victim was actually Holly Bertinelli, and Helena Bertinelli is horrified to discover that she is Wyvern's real target.
Helena is surprised by the return of Tony Angelo who explains that he learned martial arts and weaponry during his travels while lying low after murdering the man who kidnapped and abused Helena as a child. Helena decides to give him some of her trust again, and details some of Wyvern's psychological history from a file that she obtained. Wyvern's mother had been negligent, and locked him in a closet whenever he was seeking her attention. As a result, he turned to creating puzzles and stories in order to impress her - to no avail. Later, he would use his significant intellect to murder women who would represent his mother.
Elsewhere, a truck full of radioactive materials is hijacked by a gang.
