Synopsis for "Disintegration"

Somewhere in the high desert of Utah, a team from StormWatch appears, using the teleportation abilities of Jack Hawksmoor. The town they arrive in is strangely empty, but Jack senses a whole other city nearby. Apollo flies up high to check it out, and discovers something unexpected.

A few miles away, Andrew Bennett uses his powers to freeze the zombified Van Helsings in place so that Mary, Tig, and John can kill as many as possible. Unfortunately, his magic is weakening, and there are more on the horizon. The whole situation has grown even more problematic, as each vampire who feeds on a Van Helsing adopts the vampire-killer's ideology, while turning the victim into a zombie-vampire - who also wishes to kill vampires.

After checking back with The Engineer, Apollo and his companions decide that their best option to deal with this horror is to simply kill everyone. Using The Lost Boys' rules, he assumes that killing the leader will kill his followers, and so, he targets Andrew. It turns out Andrew is completely immune to Apollo's sun rays, and he explains that he is one of the only ones actually trying to stop the zombies. Realizing he made a mistake, Apollo and company join forces with Andrew.

Eventually, Tig is overwhelmed and bitten by zombie vampires, infecting her with both vampirism and a desire to kill vampires, compounded by her pre-existing desire to kill Andrew. Frustrated, Andrew and Apollo get their allies to higher ground to regroup. Jack reminds that Andrew is called the Demon's Lock, and Andrew realizes that, maybe, he can use his power again to trap all of the dark magic in the area. Mary warns Andrew against it, but he chooses to do it anyway.

Flying up over the horde below, Andrew sucks all of the dark magic in the desert up inside of himself, returning all of those within to their human selves - including Mary.

Tig wakes up, cured, and sees Andrew collapsed in the middle of the desert. She helps him up, and in thanks, he makes her his first vampire child by drinking from her.
