History

Im-El was a native of the planet Krypton and a respected member of the House of El. During Krypton's pre-industrial era, Im-El studied atomic theory and became a pioneer for the advancement of atomic energy technology which helped revolutionize Kryptonian industry standards for centuries to come.

Notes

• This version of Im-El (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal.
• Im-El is a direct paternal ancestor of the super-hero known as Superman.
