Sometimes confused with "Phasing", Intangibility is a term used to describe the ability of some characters to become untouchable. It differs from phasing by it's fundamental process; characters who are intangible cannot be touched physically whereas characters that phase have the ability to go through solid objects.

Other uses of Intangibility include air walking, ignoring gravity, levitation and physical disruption. They can walk on physical particles, float upwards through solid walls, levitate through or fall through solid objects and disrupt atoms which hold physical things together.
