Synopsis for "A Deep Descent"

Curious about the mute, mysterious Sykes, Destra, Punchy, Empty Vee, and Duke plan to turn off Sykes' null-field generator. Vee sneaks into Sykes' room, invisible, and turns off the generator, enveloping the kids in a hyper-realistic fantasy world. During their time there, they discover that Sykes' parents conceived him for experimentation, his Uncle Melvin sexually abused him and murdered his parents, and that none of the children in Sykes' neighborhood knew anything about him other than rumors. In "the real world", Kefong makes his way through the frozen world and turns the null-field generator on, rescuing everyone from the fantasy world. The staff concluded that none of the student body remembered the event, and couldn't figure out who was to blame.
