Synopsis for "The White Rage, Part 1"

The JLA announces that Manitou Raven, Faith, and Major Disastor are now official league members, on probationary status. On his way back from Brazil, Flash comes across a stand-off between a joint coalition force and the Safe Haven Collective. Flash calls in the team for help. The League is welcomed into the collective by Shephard and his wife Vela, both of whom are super-powered. They are scared that the government, who wants to send in inspectors, will contaminate their residences with diseases like they unintentionally did last time they came for an inspection. Inevitably, a fire-fight breaks out between the two, leaving the JLA stuck in the middle.
