Synopsis for "Trial by Fire, Part 4"

Fernus has defeated the White Martians and attacks the JLA in the Fortress of Solitude - thankfully for them, Green Lantern is returned to them from Ganthet, with knowledge about the Burning Martians and with a way to temporarily halt the attack. They regroup, sans Batman, to discuss what they must do to prevent the unthinkable - Fernus could kill many people through fire and thus breed. Batman, meanwhile, is trying to get Plastic Man's help, but Plastic Man doesn't remember who he is. Fernus asks Scorch to burn down a community, but she refuses, so he unleashes a nuclear arsenal while causing Lois Lane to come under attack in Metropolis.
