Synopsis for "Double or Nothing, Conclusion: Busted!"
Stargirl is forced to battle Wildcat, who is under the possession of Amos Fortune's stellaration. She does not fare very well against the extremely experienced fighter.
Gypsy, in her non-corporeal form, steals some of the energy from the stelleration field surrounding the fight and uses it to rouse Vixen, who had been knocked unconscious. She telepathically tells Vixen to find and defeat Wizard, who is focusing the stelleration. She is successful, and the Wizard's defeat drops the field surrounding Stargirl and Wildcat, which allows Gypsy to get into Wildcat's mind and free him of Fortune's possession. Stargirl and Vixen are easily able to subdue Fortune's other accomplices, Sportsmaster and the Gambler. Fortune, however, has grown increasingly more powerful with stelleration energy, and is beginning to grow to enormous size. Gypsy and Vixen are unable to defeat him. However, Stargirl adds the stellar energy of her own Cosmic Staff to Fortune's stelleration energy, which causes him to grow uncontrollably. Green Lantern manages to move Fortune out of range before he explodes.
