Synopsis for "Princes of Darkness Part 4: Army of Darkness"

Three beings of immense magical power, Mordru, Obsidian, & Eclipso, have attacked the Earth and have forced the moon from its orbit, creating a permanent, total eclipse.

In the battle with Eclipso, Wildcat encased in an armor made of solid light courtesy of The Ray attacked Eclipso. As Eclipso destroys the light armor of Wildcat, Phantom Lady attacked Eclipso by taking possession of the Black Diamond (Earth-Two) and giving it to Eclipso, who became the new Eclipso.

In the Shadowlands, upon finding Sentinel's near-death body, Captain Marvel has the idea that the powers of Jade might be able to restore Alan Scott's powers. Stargirl (Courtney Whitmore) then ordered the the Shade to take them out of the Shadowlands who complied. Upon arriving at Los Angeles, Billy Batson, being reconnected to his powers, turned to Captain Marvel, and were met by Jade. However, they were quickly attacked by Obsidian.

Doctor Fate immediately gave Dove psychic transmission on how to stop Mordru (New Earth). She was directed to go to Gemworld. Doctor Occult, using his Mystic Symbol of the Seven to open a doorway to Gemworld. Dove was accompanied by Hawkgirl and Power Girl.

In the Tower of Fate, Mordru (New Earth) watches as The Sand-monster wince in pain, as the true plan of Mordru to destroy the Earth itself comes to light.
