Jack O'Lantern is a legacy name used by several characters in the DC Universe. The original was Daniel Cormac, a member of the Global Guardians representing Ireland. He possesses a mystical lantern that gives him the powers of flight, flame projection, teleportation, illusion casting, enhanced strength, and the ability to create fogs. Marvin Noronsa briefly took the mantle as an agent of Bialya's Queen Bee. Liam McHugh later took the name, an Irish freedom fighter who internalized the Lantern's powers. McHugh became a member of Primal Force and the Ultramarine Corps. Jack O'Lantern was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Ramona Fradon, first appearing in Super Friends #8. (1977) |
