Captured by Aqualad, Puma was sent to Belle Reve. Leading a group of prisoners, he took control of a portion of the prison and captured several guards. Amanda Waller came to end the siege and offered Puma a deal. He would release the guards and go quietly back to his cell or she would detonate the explosive charge implanted in his skull. Thinking he was calling her bluff, Puma charged Waller. She activated the charge killing him instantly. The other prisoners surrendered shortly.
