James Gordon was one of Batman longest allies. He first met young Bruce as a detective, when he was investigating the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne.
Gordon was one of few cops who had faith in the Bat and his helpers, and eventually deduced that his young female helper Batgirl was in fact his daughter Barbara.Powers and Abilities
