Janet Drake (New Earth)

Janet Drake was married to Jack Drake and together, they had a son called Tim. Janet was heavily involved in her husband's business affairs, although their relationship turned strictly professional as the affection between them started to disappear.

The two of them were constantly travelling in business and unfortunately, they were kidnapped during one of these trips by the voodoo cultists known as the Obeah Man. After a ransom demand to Drake Industries, Obeah Man prepared to sacrifice the Drakes in a dark ritual. Batman arrived in time to save them, but their desperation drove them to drink what they thought was water, but was actually poison. Janet died from the poison and her husband was crippled.[1]
