Jason Woodrue is an ingenious plant scientist who has used several aliases as both hero and villain. His mutated vegetative form allows him to control plants. Originally known as Plant Master, he was an enemy of The Atom. He would later more prominently become the Floronic Man as an antagonist to Swamp Thing. During his time spent as a hero and member of the New Guardians following Millennium, he took the name Floro. He has also been a member of the Injustice Gang and the Secret Society of Super-Villains. Jason Woodrue was created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane, first appearing in Atom #1. (1962)
