History
Jax-Tor was a colonel and administrative officer for the Kryptonian Bureau of Investigation on the planet Krypton. Many years prior to the birth of Superman, Jax-Tor instructed agents Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van to go undercover and infiltrate the lair of renowned terrorist, Kil-Lor. Jax-Tor died however a few days before Kil-Lor could be brought to justice.
Notes
- This version of Jax-Tor (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal.
- The character of Jax-Tor was created by Otto Binder.
- Jax-Tor has only been referenced by the source material, and has never made an actual appearance.
- Jax-Tor is not to be confused with the Phantom Zone criminal Jax-Ur.
