Jax-Ur is a Kryptonian super-criminal and an enemy to Superman. He was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone for destroying Wegthor, a populated moon of Krypton. This act of mass murder led him to be called the worst criminal in the Phantom Zone. Eventually he escaped to plot against Superman with his Phantom Zoner compatriots General Zod and Faora. Jax-Ur was created by Otto Binder and George Papp, first appearing in Adventure Comics #289. (1961)
