Jenny Hubbard was a waitress who worked at Ralli's diner 900 miles outside of Metropolis.
History
Encounter with Luthor
When Lex Luthor visited Ralli's, he met Jenny and offered her $1,000,000 to spend a month with him. Because of Jenny's fury at his proposal, Luthor analyzed her and his analysis made her question everything about her life.
After Jenny's refusal of the offer Luthor told her he'd wait outside in his car for ten minutes. After listening to the other waitresses discuss what they would do with that money and after speaking with her husband Wally, Jenny questioned her decision. Jenny's boss walked in to tell her that Luthor had already left. The whole arrangement was a cruel prank of Luthor's that he enjoyed by making tantalizing offers before leaving the women to forever question their lives and choices.[1]
Revenge
Years later, when Luthor ran for the presidency, Jenny traveled to one of his rallies (still wearing her Ralli's waitress uniform) in Metropolis. She fired two gunshots at Luthor, one of which struck him. However, this assassination attempt failed. Jenny was arrested and was considered delusional by the FBI. Luthor used the attack to boost his popularity and to help him secure his place as president.[2]
