Jessica Dent was appointed Mayor of Gotham City after the death of Oswald Cobblepot. Prior to this, she was President of the Board of Supervisors who, along with her twin brother Harvey Dent, investigated the rumored illicit activities of Cobblepot. In her youth, she and her brother were friends with Bruce Wayne.
