Jessica Dent was appointed Mayor of Gotham City after the death of Oswald Cobblepot.

History

Prior to this, she was President of the Board of Supervisors who, along with her twin brother Harvey Dent, investigated the rumored illicit activities of Cobblepot. In her youth, she and her brother were friends with Bruce Wayne. During an attack on the Gotham City Police Department brought on by the Riddler, her brother was murdered by Sal Maroni, while half of her face was damaged. She developed a split personality which mirrored her brother's.
