History

Jewelius Blak was a member of the Green Lantern Corps assigned to Sector 1417. The Guardians of the Universe required her to take on a single student, and she chose to become mentor to Thaal Sinestro of Korugar. After her death, many years later, he took over her position. She was very well-respected by her peers, and Sinestro modeled his career after hers to an extent.^[1] Eventually, her body was shown to be held in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa along with all of the other fallen Lanterns.^[2]
