James Hodgkins is a comic book artist.

Professional History

Hodgkins began his career in 1993 working for Marvel Comics on their title Warheads: Black Dawn. The same year he provided DC Comics with his first work in the title Black Canary (Volume 2). He worked in the comic book industry for most of the 90's though the 2010s, also under the name "Jimmy Broxton".

He was a frequent collaborator of Paul Cornell, including Knight and Squire (Volume 1), but the partnership ended in 2017 over a disagreement over a possibly transphobic variant cover for Vampirella.[1]
