Joanna Pierce is the daughter of Frank Tanner and Connie Pierce.

History

Following her parents' divorce, she took her mother's maiden name.

Born and raised in Suicide Slum, Joanna moved with her family to Chicago and became a lawyer. In Star City, she became the lead attorney for the Lamb Valley Tenants Association. Joanna befriended Oliver Queen when he took the initiative to be charitable, but getting too close to him led to her death. Joanna's death drove a wedge between Oliver and her uncle, Jefferson Pierce.
