Personal History of Jock is unknown.


Professional History

Mark Simpson, best known as Jock, is an Scottish comic book artist and illustrator. He began his career in 1999 working for Fleetway on the title 2000 AD. He was eventually hired by Vertigo, where he worked on the titles Hellblazer, 100 Bullets and The Losers. His first published work for DC Comics was in 2004 in the title Legends of the Dark Knight. Later on he worked on titles like Detective Comics, Catwoman and many more.

Most recently he has been working for Dynamite Entertainment as well as Image Comics along with writer Scott Snyder on the title Wytches. He did the Joker variant cover art for Batman/Superman #21.
