John Newton (b. December 29, 1965) is an American actor who portrayed Clark Kent/Superboy for the first season of the series Superboy. With the second season he was replaced by Gerard Christopher, who stayed with the role for the remainder of the series run. Prior to 2004, Newton was credited as "John Haymes Newton".
