Flying "Johnny" Cloud was a Navajo pilot who fought in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Eventually he became a member of an elite military combat unit named The Losers, alongside Captain Storm, Gunner MacKay, Sarge Clay and their dog Pooch. They operated in the European theater behind enemy lines for many years fighting Nazis. Johnny Cloud was created by Robert Kanigher and Irv Novick, first appearing in All-American Men of War #82.
