The Joker of Earth-22 shared a similar history to that of his Kingdom Come counterpart. The Earth-22 Joker's most notable act was him actually killing reporter Lois Lane who like several other counterparts is the wife of Superman. It was this act that caused the anti-hero Magog to avenge Lois' death by murdering the Joker in cold blood. Magog's actions were largely supported by the general populace which led to him being acquitted of all charges relating to the murder of the Joker.
